1. How do you locate Writing Intensive courses? Writing Intensive courses do not appear on Degreeworks. Instead, to locate these courses, log onto Schedule Builder in your CUNYfirst account. Select the Advance Search option in the search box. Be sure to specify undergraduate under Academic Career. For Course Attribute, choose Writing Intensive. Selecting search will provide a list of potential options within various departments to fulfill Hunter’s Writing Intensive requirement. However, please note that this function operates as a word search. The system is locating the keyword “Writing Intensive.” Some classes may pop up but are not Writing Intensive.
